Below is a list of some of the most popular bracelet colors and some of their most well-known meanings:

Black : Symbolizes mourning, shows support for people suffering from melanoma, and promotes awareness of gang prevention.

Blue : Promotes awareness of drunk driving, child abuse, colon cancer (brown is also appropriate), colorectal cancer (brown is also appropriate), anti-tobacco & second hand smoke, dystonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), alopecia, Education, Epstein-Barr Virus, and Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). Was also used to show support for the victims of hurricane Katrina.

Brown : Well known awareness color as an anti-tobacco symbol as well promoting awareness for colon and colorectal cancers (alternative wristband color is blue).

Gold : Promotes childhood cancer awareness.

Green : Promotes awareness of eco-friendly practices, , environmental concerns, homeopathy, childhood depression, missing children, open records for adoptees, kidney cancer, and tissue/organ donation.

Grey : Symbolize support for people with diabetes, asthma, and brain cancer.

Lavender : Used to promote awareness of epilepsy, rett syndrome, and cancer in general.

Light Blue : Promotes awareness of prostate cancer, Trisomy 18, scleroderma, and childhood cancer (pink or gold is also appropriate).

Multi-Colored (Rainbow) : Symbolizes gay pride and support for the GLBT community.

Orange : Symbolizes support for people battling leukemia or hunger, as well as promoting awareness of cultural diversity, humane treatment of animals, and self-injury.

Pale Yellow : Symbol of spina bifida.

Pink And Blue Combination : Symbolizes support for people coping with miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant death due to SIDS or other causes.
