Celebrating Four Years of Custom Braille Wristbands

Four years ago, a customer approached Amazing Wristbands to see if it would be possible to design a custom message in embossed braille. The company embraced the challenge, and carefully crafted the raised dots to perfectly reflect the customer’s message and contact information. Since then, Amazing Wristbands has created numerous Braille wristbands for customers - it’s an exclusive, made-to-order accessory.

About Braille

Invented in the 1800s by Louis Braille, the system incorporates a pattern of raised dots that a visually impaired person touches to read. The dots are arranged in groups of up to six in a “cell,” and each cell can represent a letter, a number, punctuation, or even a word. If just one dot is missing, extra, or out of place, an entire word could be misread - which could completely change the meaning of a message.
