Esophageal Cancer Wristbands

Raise Awareness of Esophageal Cancer

Esophageal cancer is not common, but almost always fatal. More than 16,000 people are diagnosed with esophageal cancer each year, and less than 20% survive. Esophageal Cancer Awareness Month is in November, with the week of Thanksgiving designated as Esophageal Cancer Awareness week. The awareness color for esophageal cancer is purple, or periwinkle. Esophageal cancer wristbands are often used at awareness events to help bring the need for knowledge, research, and funding into the public’s eye.
